Angel Soft Gets Class Treatment

Georgia Pacific's design company commissioned Gary to create images reflecting Angel Soft's upscale brand. Sally Jacobs, Miami stylist, worked with Gary and the designer, to create photographs which convey a feeling of class without being stuffy. Wilhelmina models Max Brown and Shari Charles were cast as the butler and lady.
Gary: "This was a perfect assigment for me. There were layouts, but they were loose enough to allow for interpretation. The designer was open to my ideas and that's always a turn-on for me. She liked my first choice for the location (Vizcaya Museum and Gardens) and we were on the same page with models. So it wasn't a problem when the client decided to add a shot at the last minute...we knew the look we were going for and I felt comfortable with both the designer and client."

Sally Jacobs, Stylist: "It's always fun to work with Gary and I really like shopping for couture. There was a small panic when the client decided to include Shari's feet in one set-up...we hadn't brought any shoes. I wound up sending Max (the male model) to my house to grab some sexy heels. I was directing him on a cel phone and it was actually rather funny, he was a trouper."

GP Designer: "We have been attracted to Gary's work for a while, but this was our first opportunity to work with him. The client is very pleased with his images. He's such a pro...we'll be back."

Gary: "This was a bit different in terms of subject, but something I enjoyed and will do again."
